How do I create a whiteboard?

To create a new whiteboard click the link named Create New Whiteboard located on the Whiteboard tab of a meeting space.

This will bring up the Create a new whiteboard panel where the whiteboard requires a title and whiteboard.

Click the Save button to create the whiteboard.

How do I modify a whiteboard?

To modify a whiteboard click the link named Edit next to the title of the whiteboard, while you are viewing the whiteboard you wish to edit.

This will bring up the Edit whiteboard panel. Edit the whiteboard and click either Save As New Version or Save As Current Version to save your changes.

If you decide to Save As New Version, Boardroom Web will start tracking your revisions to this whiteboard. This will allow you to compare versions.

If you decide to Save As Current Version, it will save on top of the version you are editing.

How do I delete a whiteboard?

To delete a whiteboard click the link named Edit next to the title of the whiteboard, while you are viewing the whiteboard you wish to delete.

This will bring up the Edit whiteboard panel where the whiteboard can be deleted. Delete the whiteboard by checking the checkbox that says, Yes, I understand then click the link that says Delete this Whiteboard.

How do I comment to a whiteboard?

To comment on a whiteboard, navigate to the whiteboard and enter your comment where it says Leave a comment on version version number. Click the Leave Comment button when you are ready to submit your comment.

How do I delete a comment to a whiteboard?

To delete a comment on a whiteboard, navigate to the whiteboard that has the comment you want to delete.

While viewing the whiteboard, scroll down to the comment and to the right of the date / time stamp, there is a red link that says Delete Comment. Click on that link to remove a specific comment.

If the link is not visible, you do not have permission to delete comments on whiteboards. Talk to your meeting space administrator(s) if you need access to delete comments on whiteboards.

What happens when someone edits a whiteboard?

When someone edits a whiteboard, they can choose to save the whiteboard on top of the existing version or choose to save a new version. If they save as a new version, Boardroom Web will allow you to compare it to previous and future changes.

What happens when I delete a whiteboard?

When you delete a whiteboard it will be permanetly deleted along with all of its comments. Once a whiteboard has been deleted there is no way to undelete it, so please make sure you're absolutely sure you want to delete the whiteboard.

What is the difference between Save As New Version and Save As Current Version?

When you edit a whiteboard, you are given two choice on how to save the whiteboard.

How do I compare versions?

To compare versions of a whiteboard, navigate to the whiteboard that has the versions you want to compare.

While viewing the whiteboard, select a version in the drop down list that is listed next to compare to version and click the Go button. If the drop down list box says None it means that there is only one version of this whiteboard and you cannot compare it to anything.

How do I view previous versions of a whiteboard?

To view previous versions of a whiteboard, navigate to the whiteboard that has the versions you want to view.

On the right side of the page, look for Version History which will have links to all the previous versions of this whiteboard. Click the link to view that version.
